It was the most painful betrayal. It not only harmed Osman Bey and Kayi Tribe from the outside, but also had drastic damage to their hearts. Dundar Bey was the Son of Suleyman Shah and the brother of Ertugrul Gazi (father of Osman Bey). Dundar Bey was indulged in a lot of evil acts as he supported each and every enemy of Osman Bey since he started ruling the Kayi Tribe. He tried killing Osman Bey with the help of different enemies including Templars and Mongols. Bayhoca, nephew of Dundar also got killed in war as Dundar shared the plan with Nikola and his friend Komutan Flatyos. Osman Bey once had a doubt on him, but he managed to divert the attention and regain Osman’s trust. Dundar had given most of the damage than any other enemy of Osman. He killed Idris(David) who was about to tell everything to Osman Bey but running from that place, Dundar’s ring came off of his finger and fell down which was picked up by Malhun Hatun (daughter of Omer Bey). This ring proved to be the last nail in the coffin for Dundar Bey as later in the season Omer Bey handed this ring over to Osman Bey. His treachery was exposed and he was eventually killed by Osman Bey.
