5 People who betrayed Osman Bey (Kurulus Osman): Suleyman(Petrus) & Melik(Simon)

Suleyman was camouflaged as a Muslim merchant whereas Melik as his helper. They came to Osman Bey and asked for permission to open up their shop in Sogut Bazar. Originally, they were sent by Pope for some secret evil missions. Suleyman and Melik were Templars and their real names were Petrus & Simon respectively. Aya Nikola and Dundar Bey allied with them and they use to exchange different information between themselves according to their own interests. Petrus and Simon never directly harmed Osman Bey but indirectly they imposed great damage to Kayi Tribe & Osman Bey as they were a part of many of the conspiracies. Later, their reality was disclosed to Osman Bey as they were about to kill Hazal Hatun(Dundar’s first wife). Osman Bey captured both of them and extracted every bit of information from them that could be beneficial for Osman Bey. Melik(Simon) was sent to the Temple by Osman Bey for getting a piece of information from Nikola but Melik failed to do so and was killed by Nikola. Whereas, Suleyman(Petrus) was later on killed by Bamsi Beyrek with the consent of Osman Bey.
